De-Clutter

Presentation is absolutely everything when you are selling your home. Make a habit of making sure that everything is immaculate where possible and also try and get rid of any clutter. This can include the pile of toys in the corner of the room or even the stacks of paper that you have on the coffee table. Clutter makes a room feel really small and it doesn’t matter how clean the home is because it will have a detrimental effect on your property. If you can, you should deal with this in advance where possible. The last thing that you need is to have to throw it all into a cupboard at the last minute, only to have your buyer open it and have everything fall out.

    Oh my goodness I wish I had read this before our nightmare move a.year ago! We had a tiny baby and a toddler! My only tip is if you can afford it get a storage unit and pack non essentials early. It then helps with decluttering and cleaning. Also I wish someone had told me to sort the loft out pre move!
    Good.luck to anyone moving. It was worth it but I was super stressed.
