Things we love: Arty Apple

We are big fans of products from small and independent brands, even better when the brand is created by a Mummy. I came across the Arty Apple brand a couple of weeks ago when I looking for a baby gift, and it is just the perfect place to purchase a gift for a newborn, or a gift for your toddler. The range of products are beautiful and I was really excited when we were invited to review a couple (or three).

It was really hard to pick as everything is just so gorgeous, and would look great in our home. We selected a personalised apron, personalised print and personalised bunting. As you can see there is a theme going on here, everything is personalised. That’s the brilliant thing about Arty Apple is the gift you are purchasing is unique and hopefully be treasured by the recipient.

Here’s our review of each item:

Girls Personalised Apron

I love cooking, although I feel like I never have time to do it now. I’ve noticed recently that our daughter is becoming more and more interested in what I’m doing in the kitchen. She always wants to see what’s on the hob, and wants to help out. She’s still a little young, but is already wanting a fork to stir the pasta in the saucepan.

I thought that the personalised apron would be the perfect gift for her, and is something that she can wear when we hopefully start to make cakes during the week. The apron is made of a durable denim material, with pink cords to tie round her waist. It feels like this item would last forever, withstanding buttery and sugary fingers, and many washes. I love this item, and I almost wish that I could have a matching one myself.

This girls personalised apron costs between £13 – £15 depending on the size you choose.

Bunting

Who doesn’t love bunting! And I simply love the range of bunting on offer at Arty Apple. There are so many different designs and colourways you can choose to match your baby’s or child’s room, or to select a bunting that they love.

I found it really hard to choose, and I opted for the Star Flag Bunting, which is gorgeous. Each letter is beautifully crafted on blue polka dot, blue gingham and blue fabric, and each letter is a lovely gold colour. We choose the Star Bunting as it would work really well with our daughter’s grey and yellow themed room, and I thought it would look really good on our striped wall. Just like the apron I am really impressed with the quality of the bunting, and also the size. For someone who has a relatively short name the bunting was really long and each flag was quite big, so this bunting is perfect for stretching across quite a large space.

If you’re looking for personalised bunting I would check out the full range from Arty Apple as I’m sure that they’ll be one for you. The bunting costs between £9 – £36 depending on how many letters you need.

Personalised Wall Art

Our last gift we selected was the personalised wall art, and just like the bunting it was really difficult to decide on a design as there are so many. We selected the girls personalised alphabet print where the initial is highlighted and then the name printed underneath. The quality of the print is great, printed on a thick card and framed with a thick mount. I just need to find a frame to go with it now.

There are so many prints in the range which would make a perfect gift for a newborn baby, 1st birthday or Christmas. All the prints in the range cost £7.50, so if you’re looking for personalised wall art then I would really recommend taking a look at Arty Apple.

A little bit about Arty Apple

Arty Apple was created by a multi tasking Mummy with a passion for gorgeous fabrics and hand made crafts. Having seen loads of beautiful nurseries the range is based on fabulous colour combinations for that perfect nautical look, pretty in pinks theme or soft and neutral feel. Her little boy and little girl helped along the way, choosing the fabrics they liked and entertaining the ladies in the haberdashery!

We are really impressed with Arty Apple and I have no hesitation in recommending their products to friends and family who are looking for a gift or present for a baby. I hope that you like it as much as we do.
