Review & Giveaway: Vremi Baking Cups and Apple Slicer

We love a little bit of baking in our household, except I feel like there is never ever enough time to do it. With the Christmas holidays approaching and my daughter reaching an age where she will probably like baking, or helping me to bake, or generally creating a mess, I’ve decided to don my apron and be better at baking. I even have one of those expensive food mixers, so I definitely need to put that to use. With this in mind this week we’ve been testing out the Vremi Baking Cups and Slicer, and do you know what, they are amazing.

Vremi Baking Cups

The Vremi Baking Cups come in a pack of 24, with 4 vivid colours for the cup cases, and the little one loves to play with these. They are made of non-stick silicone that makes it so easy to get the cake out of its case once it’s cooked. There is no danger here of the cake getting stuck in the case, it just slides out easily.

The other great thing about these Baking Cups is that they are 100% dishwasher safe, perfect for a busy Mum who needs to put everything in the dishwasher. Plus they can withstand freezing to high temperatures, so they are safe to go in the freezer.

Vremi Slicer

The Vremi Slicer is a fantastic tool, but I did wonder how to use it when it first arrived. It’s really simple. You just place the Apple Slicer in the Vremi Holder over the top of the apple, push down and it slices the apple into 8 handy segments for you, creating a perfect little pick me up for you or a snack for you child. I was really impressed how quickly the slicer cut through the apple, as the blades are super sharp…..so please keep away from your child.

There are two other attachments that cut 36 potato chips and a mango. Both of these have made my life a lot simpler, especially the potato slicer as it means that all my homemade chips are now the same thickness and therefore cook evenly.

All the slicer attachments are dishwasher proof and are small enough to store in your cutlery or utensil drawer. Just make sure that no little fingers can reach them. The Vremi slicer is also available from Amazon and costs £7.99.
