fortheloveofBLOG Week 27

#fortheloveofBLOG Week 10

Hurray! Week 10! Double figures! I can’t believe that we are into Week 10 here at #fortheloveofBLOG, the time has absolutely flown by since we started the linky, and we continue to be getting more and more of your fab posts every week. Last week we managed to get a grand-spanking 91 link-ups – whoop! Myself and Fi are really happy with that, and send a huge thank you out to everyone who linked up, but this also means that we are changing the rules slightly – see details below.

This week has not been a good week for us as a family, we have been plagued by sickness. With my daughter just starting nursery she is now exposed to loads of illnesses, and managed to get conjuntivitus last weekend, so on my first day working from home I had to take her to the doctors for antibiotics. Then on my second day back in the office I had to go and pick her up from nursery as she wasn’t feeling well. To top it all off I’ve got tonsillitus and have been off work since! So all in all I’ve done 2.5 hours in the office this week! It’s not been a good week for us, but hey, moan over.

This week I’m linking up two posts:

My first post is My Little Piccolo: Perfect weaning food for your baby. We were really excited to try a new range of baby food by a fab new company called My Little Piccolo who offer delicious Mediterannean flavoured baby food with a unique twist. Our little girl loved them, and I am desperate to purchase some more.

My second post is The Partner’s View by Over Heaven’s Hill. Geraldine’s partner talks about the birth of their child by emergency c-section following induction and excessive blood clotting. It makes for quite a scary read, but in the end all was ok with Geraldine and baby A. The responses from Geraldine’s partner makes us realise that anything can happen in childbirth, so it’s best to be mentally and physically prepared for anything to happen.

Featured Blogger

Last week my favourite post was vlogged by Meagan at The Mum Project. Meagan’s vlog How to Become a Successful Blogger captures what Meagan learnt at #BML16 mashed up with her day job in Digital Marketing. Please all take a look at her vlog, it is informative and snappy, plus funny to watch too. Well done Meagan, grab yourself our featured blogger badge.

Our Linky

This week we are making some changes to the Linky. We are going to cap the number of link-ups at 75 to allow us to focus more time on reading and commenting on your posts. Once 75 link-ups are received the Linky will close.

We welcome any type of post you want to link up – funny, emotional, functional, rant etc – whatever you are proud of and want to share with us. Fi and I will comment between us on your posts and each choose a favourite for the week to be featured on the next link up, including a back link to your blog. We’ve noticed that some posts are not featuring our badge, please display our badge as this is required for the Linky to work, going forward we will not be commenting on posts that aren’t displaying our badge.

For the love of blog will open every Saturday at 8am and close the following Monday at 10pm/or once we reach 75 link-ups.

And that’s it! Ready…set…get linking! We can’t wait to read your posts:)

Poor you and your little one Claire – it’s so frustrating when you’ve geared up for the return to work and then the lurgy strikes – hope the antibiotics do the trick.

On a different note – congrats to you and Fi for the success of #fortheloveofBLOG – you are 2 inspiriational ladies – juggling so many things and still keeping up with all the blog stuff. Thanks for hosting. xx

Ugh it’s so so so hard being sick when you go back to work, this just happened to me too! I was literally dying but you can’t be sick with a baby! Thank you so much for featuring me, it has made my week a whole lot better. : )
