Sisterhood of the World Bloggers

A couple of week’s ago I was invited to take part in Sisterhood of the World Bloggers tag by Catie over at Diary of An Imperfect Mum. I really enjoy taking part in these sort of tags, as it allows me to reveal a little more about The Pramshed to my readers. So how does the tag work? It’s simple, I answer the 10 questions below that were set by Catie, and then choose another 5 bloggers to answer 10 of my questions. As you can see it’s a brilliant way to find out a little more about each other.

Catie is challenging me with a really interesting set of questions, so here goes:

If money was no object, what would you do all day?

I would travel the world with my husband and daughter seeing lots of new places, and experiencing different cultures and food. As well as providing my daughter with a huge range of opportunities and new experiences.

Where do you most want to travel, but have never been?

I would love to Bora Bora or Tahiti. It’s a million miles away and seems like such a difficult place to get to from the UK. But, it looks amazingly beautiful and would be the ideal place to relax and lounge on a beach all day.

What is your favourite memory?

As it’s our 3rd Wedding Anniversary today it would have to be our Wedding Day. We had such a beautiful and fun day with all our family and friends to celebrate our special day. My favourite part of it was the church service, particularly because our vicar did a really beautiful and memorable service for us.

What has been your biggest challenge?

Probably going back to work after a year off on Maternity Leave. Life at the moment is a constant juggling act. However I finally feel like we are getting in a routine now with doing the nursery run, and managing my day in the office.

What does your perfect day look like?

It sounds cheesy, but having a cup of tea in bed in the morning. Then going for a long walk either to a park or to the beach, followed by a nice pub lunch. If the sun is shining that always makes the day even better.

University or life experience, which do you feel best prepares you for life?

I think a combination of both. Going to University gave me a fantastic group of friends. But the more life experiences you get, the more confident and knowledgeable you become. I’ve only moved up the career ladder by getting more and more experience, and working with a range of people and on different projects.

What is the one thing that should be taught in school that isn’t already?

Tough one. For me I wish I had the opportunity to learn Spanish, as I would have found this more valuable. We were only offered French or German. I’m sure that Spanish is taught in schools today.

If you could go back in time, what year would you travel to?

2014! I loved this year.

Describe yourself in 3 words.

Organised, Warm and Motivated.

Which animal best defines you and why?

A Meerkat. As I’m inquisitive and quick. My husband just helped me answer that, as I was struggling with that one.

My nominations for Sisterhood of World Bloggers tag are:

Here’s my questions for you:

  4. When you were little what did you want to be?
  5. What’s the best book you’ve ever read?
  6. What’s your most embarrassing childhood memory?

  9. What sort of day have you had today?
  10. Lastly, what do you want to achieve from blogging?

Once you’ve completed the Sisterhood of World Bloggers tag it would be great if you could tag me on Twitter once you’ve written your post, and I’ll give you a re-tweet. Looking forward to reading your responses.
