Lost Blogging Mojo.....Return to The Pramshed - Claire Moran Designs
Earlier this week I lost my blogging mojo, I don’t know if it was the lovely sunny weather that caused it, or being too busy, or simply being overwhelmed with ideas I had no idea what to write about, so I ended up writing a blog post on really wanting a Pinafore dress – just to get my mind back into blogging. I do really want a Pinafore dress, but I’ve still not bought one. I started thinking about what do I need to do, or think, to get myself back into blogging, how do I find the love for blogging that I had for the first three months of the year. I kept thinking and returning to why I set up my blog in the first place, the answer being to diarise life with my daughter. I feel that I have slightly shifted away from this over the past couple of weeks with other blogging activity happening – my Linky #fortheloveofBLOG going live, some product reviews and the #30daybloggingchallenge – which I am so behind on. I decided that I needed to go back to my blog roots, and focus more on blog posts that capture life with my little one. I have found that these are my best posts, the most fun to write and often getting the most readership. Some of those posts include our brilliant week in Wales last month, the first #mummywin moments you have as a new mummy, and all about my daughter’s sleep or lack of. There are some brilliant blog posts out there to give you blog ideas should you need them, like these two 101 blog ideas by Babi a Fi and Bloggers Block by You Baby Me Mumy I will try to work harder and write more posts about us and life, as that is why I set up my blog in the first place. With the Summer coming up, me going back to work, and her starting nursery, I already have a lot of posts up my sleeve. My blog is busier than ever, so it’s important to have a schedule or at least try to stick to one, with a few posts lined up I’m going to try to schedule these, so should I lose my blogging mojo again I should have something to write about. With this I think my blogging mojo is well and truly found for now. I would love to hear what you do should you lose your blogging mojo. Claire x PS. Thank you to Tammymum for coming up with a headline for my blog post.
