#fortheloveofBLOG 26
Hi all! Welcome back to #fortheloveofBLOG and hello to anyone new who is joining us this week. I co-host the Linky with Kelly from Bringing Up Georgia, and Vicky from The Mummy Bubble, and we want to thank all of those who linked up last week and continue to link up.
This week I’ve taken a little break from blogging as much whilst we’ve enjoyed a long weekend away at Center Parcs with the family. It was lovely, and a break was very well deserved. I felt a bit guilty not blogging every day, however I have published a post everyday for the past 6 months, so two days away shouldn’t have too much impact. It felt quite refreshing, and my post is all about why it’s ok to take a break.
How did everyone else spend their weekend?
*IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT FROM YOUR HOSTS*
We have been told that a few people aren’t following the rules of this linky and that makes us sad. We’re quite relaxed about the rules, which is why many of you love it. We don’t want to be tougher on the rules… but they are there for a reason.
It’s not fair on you when people don’t follow the rules and we want to keep #fortheloveofBLOG as a positive community. If you’re reading this and thinking “I hope it’s not me”, chances are – it’s not. So please familarise yourself with the rules again just to make sure that you know what you’re agreeing to – we will be actively removing ANY posts this week that do not follow the rules.
We will also be reviewing comments at the end of the week to make sure that people are commenting on the right number of posts. If you feel that people are not following the rules, please do let us know and we will investigate.
We are more than happy to keep #fortheloveofBLOG as relaxed as we can, but only if everybody follows the rules and doesn’t try and take advantage.
Featured bloggers
Onto our featured bloggers from last week;
- My favourite blogger of the week was by You Know Your A Mum When with It’s Not Easy Meeting Friends As A New Mum. Having started going to new toddler groups with my daughter I can relate to this post, and I know just how hard it is to make new friends, especially if you’re used to being with your NCT group who you’ve known since the pregnancy days.
- Kelly’s featured blogger of the week was by Parents Toolbelt with Lessons From Our First Night As Foster Parents.
- Vicky’s favourite blogger was by Mama Finds Her Way with Joyful Habits 11 – Random Acts Of Kindness.
Well done, grab our featured blogger badge below.

The Rules
#fortheloveofBLOG linky is simple. We welcome any type of post to be linked up with the exception of the promotion of other linky’s. You can link up to two posts a week, and between us we will comment on all posts. We will also feature our favourite posts of the week on our blogs an
d include a back-link to your site.
If you would like a RT on Twitter then just include @thepramshed, @bringupgeorgia and @themummybubble in your Twitter post when you link up. All that we ask is for you is to include our new badge in your post which can be found here, and that you comment on the hosts posts and the post directly before yours, it’s also really appreciated to share the love as much as possible.

Thank you so much for featuring me in this weeks #fortheloveofBLOG I feel rather privileged. I’ve heeded my own advice and put myself out there over the past couple of weeks and I’ve ended up with some other parents phone numbers! I’m getting there. Just need to find the time to ring/text them now and arrange an actual meet up. Gawd, it’s so similar to dating!
