A review of Pigeon Organics clothing for kids

This is a collaborative post with Pigeon Organics and I was gifted these items in exchange for this review. All opinions are my own.

Recently Pigeon Organics contacted me to review their brand new Spring Summer 2019 range and I couldn’t say no. Having previously worked with Pigeon Organics I know just how nice their clothes are and how lovely they look on both my son and daughter.

For my Son I selected a jumper and a pair of trousers in size 1 – 2 years. Bertie is nearly 14 months old and has plenty of growing room in both of these items and I am confident that he will still be wearing them next year. The jumper is the Cotton Knit Jumper in Walnut and the trousers are the Seasonal Baby Trousers again in Walnut. I really like how these two items complement each other, and how they will see Bertie through the cooler summer days and still be worn on colder winter days too! Plus they will be easy to style with the rest of his wardrobe too.

And for my daughter I selected the Casual Jersey Dress in the Secret Garden print. I really love this dress as does Freya. She loves the little girl and the animals on the fabric, and likes the poppers up the neckline too! We have it in age 3 to 4 years, and given that she’s nearly 4, she still has plenty of growing room in it. I like how it can be dressed up or down for warmer summer days to cooler days, and I can picture this dress working with a cardigan and a pair of tights, just as much as I can see it working with a pair of sandals this summer.

Overall I am really impressed again with Pigeon Organics and the quality of each item of clothing. One of the things I like about the clothing is how they can withstand the usual childhood wear and tear and loads of washes, which as you know is really important for any parent. The other plus point to make is that the clothing can be worn time and time again into the winter months of the year, it has room for a growing child, and all items can easily be combined with other items of clothing in the wardrobe.

Lastly if you’re wondering why organic clothing is better for you and the environment it’s because it is made with cotton that has been organically farmed, which means that no chemicals or pesticides have been used to grow the cotton. This ultimately means it is better for the environment, better for farmers and better for you. In my eyes that’s a winner right there.

We do really love Pigeon Organics and you can view the full Spring Summer 2019 range on their website where all clothing is designed for children from birth right the way through to 8 years of age.

I hope that you like the range just as much as we do. Have you bought organic clothing for your children?
