Hi all! Welcome to fortheloveofBLOG this week. It’s lovely to have you back with us, and hello to anyone new joining us this week for the first time. I co-host #fortheloveofBLOG with Fi at A Mum Track Mind and we want to thank everyone for their continued support for the Linky. We’ve had so many regular bloggers return week after week, and I really enjoy reading your posts.
So what have I been up to this week? It’s been a fairly normal week for us. We started off the weekend by going to Bluewater in Kent for a shopping trip where I managed to pick up some new clothes and boots for Autumn. It’s so nice having new clothes to wear, and being able to spruce up an older outfit with a new top. We also enjoyed lunch at Nandos, our daughter has a love for chicken, it’s a shame that she wouldnt eat the sweet potato (more food for me). During the week I had a night out with the girls for a friend’s birthday. We went to the Blue Print Cafe located on the river in London with stunning views of Tower Bridge. It was great to go out for the evening, and have a good girly gossip with friends who I’ve not seen for a while.
This week I’m linking up two posts:
My first post is A Dribble Stop Top Review. Our daughter has been teething pretty badly, and there has been a lot of dribble. I was offered the opportunity to review these tops which contain a fabric waterproof layer that absorb the dribble, preventing dribble rash. Not only this but they are soft, durable and neutral to be paired with many outfits.
My second post – Our Yearly Trip to Center Parcs is all about our upcoming trip to Sherwood Forest in a few week’s time. We go every year with the family, and I love the feeling of escapism it provides. It’s also a lovely weekend to spend time with the family, and relax, without the need to travel. We are really looking forward to this trip, taking our daughter swimming and going on lots of bike rides around the resort. Watch this space for my review and pictures on Instagram whilst we are there.
My favourite post of the week was When Is “Just One More Photo” Too Many by Motherhoodery. I am so guilty of taking so many photos, which just sit on my phone or memory card afterwards. This post is all about living in the moment, and not being behind the lens. It’s a lesson that I need to teach myself when on holiday to enjoy the moment, and capture it in my mind, rather than trying to get loads of photos that I’m never going to look at. Congrats! Grab yourself our featured blogger badge.
At #fortheloveofBLOG we welcome all posts, except other Linky promotions. Please add @thepramshed and @amumtrackmind to your tweets to be guaranteed a retweet. This week myself and Fi will comment between us on your posts and choose our favourite of the week to be featured on my next Linky post containing a back link to your blog.
For the love of blog will open every Saturday at 8am and close the following Monday at 10pm/or once we reach 75 link-ups.
Have a lovely weekend all!
