Hi all! It’s lovely to be back at fortheloveofBLOG this week. I feel like I’ve been away from the Linky and my blog for ages. But is has been a good break! It’s been fairly busy in my world recently, as always, and I was lucky enough to have a little mini break last weekend.
The long weekend was well and truly deserved, we stayed in a gorgeous chalet style lodge in the middle of fields in Shropshire. There were no other buildings or cars in sight. I had an excellent time staying with my husband’s family whilst my husband was away golfing in North Wales. The lodge also had a hot tub which was so relaxing to enjoy, in the evening looking out at nothing but fields and stars, with a glass of bubbly! Pure bliss.
I’ve taken a little blogging break too, and have hardly posted any new posts, and have not been tweeting at much. I have to say it’s been fairly therapeutic and I think that a break is needed every now and again to refresh the mind and find focus.
This week I’m linking up two posts:
My first post – Taking a Baby to a Wedding is a look back at the fab day we had a few weeks ago celebrating my brother’s wedding. I initially thought it would be a difficult with a one year in tow, but it was surprisingly easy. Have a read of my blog post for some top hints and tips on taking children to weddings. Ear defenders are essential.
My second post – When will she walk? This week at nursery I was taken to one side as the nursery were concerned that my daughter was not yet walking. She’s 13 months old. I’m not concerned now, however it made me realise that there is too much pressure put on parent’s and children to conform to developmental milestones.
Here at #fortheloveofBLOG we welcome at type of post you want to link-up. Please add @thepramshed and @amumtrackmind to your tweets to be guaranteed a retweet. This week myself and Fi will comment between us on your posts and choose our favourite of the week to be featured on my next Linky post containing a back link to your blog.
For the love of blog will open every Saturday at 8am and close the following Monday at 10pm/or once we reach 75 link-ups.
Have a lovely weekend all!
