Hello everyone, and welcome back to Week 17 of fortheloveofBLOG. Last week I had the lovely Sarah from Tammymum guest co-hosting with me whilst Fi was on holiday. Sarah did an absolutely fabulous job, and I loved her being part of fortheloveofBLOG. This week Fi is back and we can’t wait for you all to start linking up with us.
This weekend it’s my Brother’s wedding. I’m super excited although a little nervous about doing a reading in church, and whether our 1 year old will sit still through the service. I’m sure it’ll so much fun, and I’ll be blogging about taking a baby to a wedding for sure. This also means that I will be retweeting and replying to your #fortheloveofBLOG tweets on Sunday instead of Saturday.
This week I’m linking up two posts:
My first post Street Feast: Hawker House is a slightly different post for me. It’s a foodie review and I wanted to share it with you all as it was so baby friendly. I’ve spent a couple of Saturday afternoon here with friends having delicious food and drink, and the babies love it too. If anyone is in London, Street Feast food markets are a brilliant place to visit.
My second post is the latest installment in my series The Partner’s View, this week I’m featuring Sarah and Lauren from 2 Brides 2 Mummies who share their story from conception to birth. Having read their story I am so amazed at how calm they both were throughout pregnancy and in the decision making process when it came to the birth.
Sarah’s favourite post of the week was by Meme and Harri – What If I Fail. I’m sure that a lot of us can relate to this post, where we all want to achieve so much with our blog, yet are concerned that we might fail.
My favourite post goes to Min from Single Mum Speaks – Parenting Judgement. Min’s post is all about the parenting judgement that can arise when for example we offer our children You Tube to watch, or a chip to eat. There are certain times of the day where to save our sanity, this things are a life saver. Obviously it’s not happening all the time, but they’ll always be someone judging you for it. Being a Mum is hard, and giving your child You Tube to watch so you can have 5 minutes to finish your dinner is not going to harm your child.
Congrats guys, grab yourself our featured blogger badge below.
Here at #fortheloveofBLOG we welcome at type of post you want to link-up. Please add @thepramshed and @amumtrackmind to your tweets to be guaranteed a retweet. This week myself and Sarah will comment between us on your posts and choose our favourite of the week to be featured on my next Linky post containing a back link to your blog.
For the love of blog will open every Saturday at 8am and close the following Monday at 10pm/or once we reach 75 link-ups.
Have a lovely weekend all!
