Hello everyone, and welcome back to Week 16 of #fortheloveofBLOG, I hope you are all enjoying your Bank Holiday weekend? What is everyone up to? We are in Tenby, taking a short break from the city and enjoying the fresh air, beach and good food. This week I am joined by the lovely Sarah at Tammymum as Fi from A Mum Track a Mind is on holiday again this week.
This week I’m linking up two posts:
My first post Help! My Child is Sick was written at the start of the week when my daughter was ill again with what I thought was teething. I took her to the doctors and she had a chest and throat infection, and is now on a course of antibiotics. I’ve spent half of the week at home looking after her and trying to work, and it has been so challenging. I salute any other parent’s who are also experiencing this. It’s been a long week and I’m in desperate need of a break this weekend.
My second post is the latest installment in my series The Partner’s View. This week features Emma from Upside Mum. This is a scary story to read, and involved Emma being airlifted to hospital off an island in Scotland to the main land. Please all do take a read of Emma’s story.
If anyone would like to take part in my guest series please drop me an email at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Sarah is linking up The Right Time to Have a Baby. Sarah’s post is all about when is the right to have a baby. Should we wait until we are settled into our career’s, or have our children earlier. It’s a thought provoking read. Please all take a read of Sarah’s post, and share your thoughts with her.
My favourite post of the week was by Grounded Mummy. Her post This Mummy Can: Jessica Ennis-Hill is an awe-inspiring post all about how Jessica a gold-winning athlete had her son 2-years ago and is now back at the Rio Olympics. Having seen Jessica run, I honestly don’t know how she juggles it. This post is heart warming, and it’s key message is that we can do anything. We are all Super Mums!
